HUMXN Research Labs Offers to Buy Up to $50 Million in Trades, Farming and Manufacturing Data for AI Training

HUMXN Research Labs says it wants to buy service records, repair histories, job-site photos and other work data from skilled businesses to train AI and robotics systems. The company also says it pays about $20 per hour for approved wearable-camera footage of everyday work.

HUMXN Research Labs says it wants to buy $50 million worth of data from skilled trades, farming and manufacturing businesses. The company plans to use it to train AI and robotics systems.

The company is looking for years of service records, repair histories, job-site photos, equipment manuals, training videos and manufacturing records. In short, it wants anything that shows how skilled professionals do their jobs.

HUMXN says it acquires real-world data, prepares it for AI training, and licenses the finished datasets to AI and robotics companies. The release says information collected by everyday businesses is becoming more valuable as AI companies race to build robots and systems that can do physical work.

"We want to buy your data," said Thomas Unise, founder of HUMXN Research Labs. "If you've been running a plumbing company, HVAC business, or manufacturing operation for 10 or more years, you could be sitting on a goldmine of information that AI and robotics companies need." He added that the company wants to help businesses turn years of accumulated knowledge into money, "many times with deals over six figures."

Not all data will qualify. The company says it reviews every submission and buys only data that is accurate, detailed and useful for training. Records that clearly document real problems, procedures and outcomes are worth the most, it says. Incomplete, duplicated or low-quality data is declined.

Payment depends on the amount, quality and usefulness of the information. It also depends on what rights the seller has to license the data.

HUMXN says it handles privacy at every step. Before any purchase, it checks that the business owns the data and has the right to sell it. It then removes customer names, addresses, phone numbers and other personal information, a process called de-identification.

The company is also expanding programs that pay skilled workers to record their everyday jobs with wearable cameras. It says it pays about $20 per hour of approved footage. This would give businesses or workers ongoing income on top of any sale of existing records.

Businesses can apply through the HUMXN Research Labs website. The company says applying costs nothing, and that HUMXN is paid only if the data is licensed.

The release describes HUMXN as an AI training data company that acquires, collects, prepares and licenses real-world data for AI and robotics development.
